Editorial Policy

ScopeRivo exists to give small trade and home-service businesses honest, practical advice about software. This policy explains the standards we hold ourselves to.

Independence

Our editorial decisions, including which products we cover and what we recommend, are made by ScopeRivo alone. Vendors cannot buy coverage, a recommendation, a place on a “best of” list, or the right to approve what we write.

Accuracy

We check facts against primary sources: vendor pricing and product pages, official documentation, and government and industry bodies. We do not currently run hands-on product tests or give star ratings; our How We Research page explains our method. Prices, plans and features are checked on the date shown on each article. When we’re not sure about something, we say so rather than guess.

Use of AI tools

We use AI tools to help with research, outlines, drafts and editing. Before an article is published, every price, number and rule in it is recorded with its official source and checked against that source, and articles that fail those checks are held back. We do not publish test results, star ratings or quotes, and the site owner is responsible for everything we publish.

Corrections

If we get something wrong, we fix it promptly. Significant corrections are noted at the end of the article with the date. Send corrections to hello@scoperivo.com.

Updates

Software changes often, so we review our articles regularly. Every article shows a “last updated” date, and we re-check pricing and key features at least every six months.

Advertising and affiliate links

ScopeRivo earns money from display ads (such as Google AdSense) and from some affiliate links. Ads are clearly separate from our editorial content. Affiliate relationships never influence what we recommend or the order we list products in, and we disclose them on every page where they appear. See our Affiliate Disclosure.

Sponsored content

If we ever publish sponsored content, it will be clearly labelled “Sponsored” at the top of the page and kept separate from our editorial content.

Conflicts of interest

Writers may not review products from companies they own, work for, or have a financial stake in.
